Happy Holidays, Part Two
January 4th, 2008As I mentioned last week, I’ve been on vacation. I just got back today, which means no post again this week. However, last week I talked briefly about some impressive statistics associated with the New England Patriots. This week allow me to follow up on that with this link. Apparently that Patriots drew the largest TV audience since the Oscars on Feb. 25 (and before that, probably the NFL playoffs). And if you notice, the NFL Network only got 4.5 million viewers, or around 1/6 to 1/7 of the total viewers.

December 27th, 2007Merry (belated) Christmas and Happy Holidays from The Data Mine Shaft, everybody! As you might expect, things have been pretty crazy for me. Between doctor’s appointments, seeing relatives and friends from out of town, Christmas shopping, extra work, and a week long vacation starting tomorrow, I haven’t had any time to work on a post. Next week is probably out too (since I’ll be on vacation). Keep your eyes peeled for a post on the linguistics of fortune cookies in a couple of weeks.
